Here, paths are never entirely mapped out — and that is part of their beauty. Mornings begin with birdsong and the aroma of freshly roasted coffee. The day ahead promises colour, music, discoveries and simple moments of joy.

Then evening settles in, and the sky glows orange above the foothills of the Andes.

This is a place to live, to share, and to awaken the senses.

Because sometimes, giving yourself permission to pause…

is already enough.

Let the world drift away, let the journey begin

CASA COYAIMA,
AT THE HEART OF PIJAO

Casa Coyaima is a place of hospitality created for those who wish to discover Colombia differently. Here, we offer a few places to stay, carefully chosen experiences, and a more authentic way of travelling. Through our foundation, this journey also helps support local projects.

We believe in a quiet form of elegance — one that does not need to speak loudly to be noticed. Here, we welcome our guests with care and simplicity, in a preserved place far from the usual paths.

Born from our travels and encounters, Casa Coyaima is a project built with respect: respect for nature, for the land, and for the people who bring it to life. We simply wanted to create a place where people feel at ease, and one that we would want to share.

Welcome to our home.

FEEL AT HOME

AT THE TABLE
AT KMØ

Everything begins in the soil.
Here, it is alive, fertile, and overflowing with generosity. So we imagined a garden — La Chagra — that grows upwards as much as it spreads. Fruits, vegetables, herbs everywhere, and just the right amount of surprises brought by each season. Local producers complete the day’s harvest.
At the heart of the finca, KMØ Casa de Viajeros becomes the kitchen, the dining room, and sometimes even the gathering place for long conversations that stretch late into the night. We cook with what the land chooses to offer. A cuisine that is free, vibrant and borderless, yet always rooted here.
As evening arrives, the lights soften and conversations linger. Wines, homemade infusions, local discoveries or bottles brought back from our travels — above all, they are simply an excuse to keep the moment going.

Our Coffee
JOURNEY

Our first coffee trees took root in 2024. Geisha, Bourbon, Wush Wush and other varieties are slowly growing here, each with their own character, needs and rhythm. The idea is not to produce quickly, but to allow a specialty coffee to emerge — biodynamically grown and deeply connected to this land.
Here, coffee is part of the landscape as much as it is part of everyday life. We plant it, observe it, harvest it, and above all, we take the time to understand it. We invite you to follow this journey through a walk among the plantations, beneath the shade trees, along the earth paths and across the open views of the Quindío mountains.
And during harvest season, curious hands are always welcome. For a few hours, you can share the work of the pickers, basket at your side, surrounded by coffee trees — before discovering a new appreciation for the coffee you helped bring to life.

SO, HOW’S YOUR CUP?

Living
WILD

Here, nature is not a backdrop.
The finca is home to an extraordinary biodiversity that can be discovered along the many paths winding through the mountains and coffee trees. Hummingbirds come to gather nectar from the flowers with the first morning light, parrots cross the valley at dusk, while countless birds, insects and butterflies share this place every day. Here, the seasons do not transform the landscape all at once: they shift the scents, the colours, the sounds and the presence of life.
After the rain, the fragrances of damp earth and jasmine fill the trails. Down below, the river whispers as, little by little, clouds of mist rise from the valley and wrap themselves around the mountains. The finca remains, above all, a living territory, where nature always has the final word.

Coyaima
Foundation

Because a place only truly matters when it also creates value for its surroundings, 1% of Casa Coyaima’s revenue is donated to the Coyaima Foundation.

From the very beginning, the project was imagined as a place deeply connected to its environment and to the people who bring it to life. Alongside local communities, the foundation supports social, cultural and educational initiatives that contribute to the vitality of the village and encourage connections between residents, travellers and local knowledge.
At its heart, the ambition is simple: to build a hospitality project that is also a meaningful one — creating connections, supporting the local community, and remaining open to the world.
