Laying the Foundations

Where It All Began

After several years spent living on the finca, observing the land, restoring the forest, and gradually imagining what this place could become, we began the construction of our first two accommodations in the heart of the valley.

Designed in harmony with the surrounding nature, they were created to blend seamlessly into the landscape. Built with locally sourced wood, they follow the natural curves of the terrain and offer a different perspective over the valley from each terrace.

Seen from above, their shape resembles a butterfly.

Each cabin, approximately 80 m², was designed as a refuge: a warm and comfortable space, deeply connected to nature, with complete privacy, where you wake up to the light of the mountains and the sound of birds.

At the same time, our family home — now transformed into KMØ Casa de Viajeros — also underwent a major renovation.

We wanted to preserve what gave this place its soul: its family atmosphere, its simple charm, and all the details that already carried a story.

Today, it houses a large semi-open kitchen, a living room, a restaurant, and a bar, while remaining true to what it has always been: a lively gathering place where people share a coffee, a meal, or an evening playing games around a large table.

This project was about much more than construction.

The whole family took part in its own way: through plans, ideas, materials, details, or simply the dreams we imagined for this place.

Little by little, everyone has left a trace in this space that we are building together.
